“Whole School Approaches to Sustainability: Exemplary Practices from around the world” 国際会議レポート『サステナビリティへのホール・スクール（学校包括型）アプローチ：世界中の優良事例』 2022年3月28日ー30日　オランダで開催された「ホール・スクール・アプローチ国際会議」に先立って出版された『サステナビリティへのホール・スクール（学校包括型）アプローチ：世界中の優良事例」の日本レポートに執筆協力しました。国際会議の詳細についてはコチラ本レポートには岡山県立矢掛高等学校の事例が” A ‘Whole Community Service’ Learning Approach to ESD “と題して掲載されました。レポートの執筆に当たっては、ESDの動画教材「地域と関わりあう教師たち」にも出演頂いた矢掛高校教諭（当時）の高木潤先生に協力を頂いています。矢掛高校の事例で特に評価されたのは、学校のみならず地域に広がるESDのサービス・ラーニングのアプローチです。また、同時に学校の環境そのものをサステナビリティを意識したものへと改革していく取り組みにも関心が集まりました。是非手にとってご覧いただければと思います。

“This report on exemplary practices of a Whole School Approach (WSA) to Sustainable Development was made possible by the program DuurzaamDoor, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality in The Netherlands.

The report serves as one of the key inputs for the WSA International hybrid Conference held on the 28 – 30th of March 2022,

The report included a case study of Okayama Prefectural Yakage High School entitled “A ‘Whole Community Service’ Learning Approach to ESD”. The report was written with the cooperation of Mr Jun Takagi, then teacher at Yakage High School, who also appeared in the ESD teaching material video “Teachers Engaging with the Community” we created last year.

What was appreciated in the case of Yakage High School was the service-learning approach of ESD, which extends beyond the school to the local community. At the same time, the school’s efforts to reform the school environment itself into one that is conscious of sustainability also attracted a lot of interest.
